Tuesday Oct 20, 2020
Tuesday Oct 20, 2020

We'll discuss how they got started with their company, challenges they've faced, their inspiration, and how success can be very personal.
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Patrick and Amber are recent UMaine biomedical engineering grads that co-founded Marin Skincare. Marin creates gentle and effective skincare products for people with eczema, psoriasis and dry skin, using a glycoprotein found in lobster as the key ingredient. After discovering this, they founded Marin to bring this relief to people like Amber that suffer from any type of dry, aggravated skin issue. After over a year of developing their first product with professional skincare laboratories, partnering with Luke’s Lobster to find a sustainable way to source the protein, and navigating the challenges of manufacturing during COVID, they JUST launched their first product this month (October, 2020) called their Soothing Hydration Cream. The product helps calm dry, aggravated skin for face, hands and body.
