This episode, we had a chance to speak with Nikki Strout from Rugged Seas - a family-owned Maine business that takes used fishing gear and recycles it into great bags and other apparel! We talked about the inspiration for their company, life as a fishing family, the organizations they work with and give back to, success, and much more.
ABOUT OUR GUESTS:
Taylor and Nikki Strout are a fishing family that grew up in Maine. They have three young boys and have recently started a company, Rugged Seas, that takes used fishermen’s hauling pants and oil skins and recycles them into bags, clutches, hats and other products. Rugged Seas was created with a mission to tell the fishermen’s story and shed a light on the life of a fishing family.
